Prerequisites

Laboratory Phlebotomy, Short-Term Certificate

• ENG-0995 Applied College Literacies with a grade of "C" or higher, or appropriate score on English Placement Test.
• MATH-0955 Beginning Algebra with a grade of "C" or higher, or qualified Math placement.
• Complete the following with a grade of "C" or higher:
  • MA-1010 or MA-1020 (HTEC 1050 or 1060) Introduction to Medical Terminology
  • BIO-1050 Human Biology (also accept BIO-1221 Anatomy and Physiology for Diagnostic Medical Imaging, or BIO-2341 Anatomy and Physiology II, or BIO-234A may be substituted in place of BIO-1050 by submitting a substitution form to the Program Manager)
• GPA required: 2.50 admissions requirements/core courses
• Seven year limit on Math and Sciences
