Rejuv Eatery Gives Tri-C Students Hands-On Experience
Restaurant on Public Square offers healthy options with locally sourced ingredients
CLEVELAND — Rejuv Eatery, a new café-style restaurant in downtown Cleveland's Public Square, will provide real-world culinary training for Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) students while promoting sustainability.
Rejuv, which opened on April 22 on Earth Day, was developed by Strongsville catering company A Taste of Excellence in partnership with Tri-C's Hospitality Management Center. The restaurant features a variety of healthy breakfast and lunch options with a special focus on locally sourced ingredients.
"We are thrilled to open Rejuv Eatery on Earth Day — a day that reflects our commitment to sustainability and community," said Bill Rini, A Taste of Excellence's CEO. "By collaborating with Tri-C's Hospitality Management Center on Public Square, we are not only offering a place for delicious food but also creating a platform for local students and aspiring chefs to learn and grow in a professional environment."
Students from the College's hospitality and culinary programs will gain hands-on experience in the kitchen, learning from seasoned professionals in the food service industry.
"We're excited to support Rejuv Eatery and the broader community by giving our students an opportunity to work in a real-world setting," Rini said. "This partnership perfectly aligns with our mission of preparing students for successful careers while promoting sustainable practices."
The menu's nutrient-rich, organic meals cater to diverse tastes, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Rejuv also serves crafted coffees and cold-pressed juices.
The restaurant is located at 170 Euclid Ave. and is open daily from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
