Dance Classes

Dance Academy (Ages 4 -18)

Jan. 12 - May 3, 2026 | Free

The Dance Academy is designed for students with previous dance experience. Participants train in the fundamentals of ballet and modern dance, floor work, creative improvisation, performance development, choreography and composition skills.

Students are grouped by skill level during placement auditions, they will receive a specific weekly schedule based on their level. Rehearsals take place on select weeknights and Saturdays, culminating in a final performance at the end of the semester. Students will receive further information upon registration.

Spring semester availabilty is limited to students ages 12 and older with a placement audition.

Students ages 4-11 must be added to a waitlist.

Dance Mastery (Ages 6-18)

Classes begin Jan. 20, 2026 | Free

The Dance Mastery community program introduces students to the world of dance. Participants will explore their creativity through a mastery-based approach to basic ballet and modern dance. Contemporary techniques, creative improvisation, performance development, choreography and
composition skills will help students develop coordination, musicality, strength, flexibility and alignment, culminating in a final performance at the end of the spring semester.

Classes will be held at two different locations: Broadway School of Arts and Music and Warrensville Community Baptist Church. You can sign up for classes based on the location of your choice.

Session A - Ages 6-8 years: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5 - 6 p.m

Session B - Ages 9-18 years: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6 - 7 p.m.
