Are you interested in entering the medical field? Working as a state tested nursing assistant (STNA) can launch your career in health care. The STNA program at Cuyahoga Community College provides you with a state-approved 108 hour training program, plus additional training such as CPR for the health care provider, first aid and a 16 hour clinical rotation.
Successful students test at Tri-C for the state competency exam, and online pre-testing practice is offered. Tri-C’s additional acute care prep course can help prepare the STNA to work in a hospital setting. As an STNA, your career outlook is excellent.
