Students of the Professional Medical Coding course can obtain their CPC apprentice certification or CPC certification ( only if the student has one year of coding experience) by taking the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) approved curriculum at Tri-C. Students can take individual courses in the evenings or can take a comprehensive Professional Coding Program during the day that includes a job shadowing experience. Both routes lead successful students to becoming eligible to sit for the national AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) exam. Professional Coding Program FAQ
