Successful Transfer Planning
- Decide early that transferring to a four year university to complete your bachelor's degree is your goal
- Decide where you would like to transfer and the major you intend to pursue
- Work closely with a Tri-C counselor and the advisor at your intended transfer school in order to select the appropriate courses based on the requirements of the transfer school.
- Be aware that degree requirements vary from university to university as well as within the specific colleges and schools of a university

Options to Maximize the Number of Transfer Credits
- Earn an Associate Degree while completing general education requirements that are required during the first 2 years at most institutions
- Follow the Transfer Module and TAG pathways for guaranteed transfer of the courses you take to any public institution in the State of Ohio

- Work closely with Tri-C counselors to follow transfer guides and agreements set up with our university partners
- Complete a Bachelor Degree on a Tri-C campus or at our new Brunswick University Center
