
Leadership Certification Program
The Leadership Certification Program provides students with the opportunity to further develop their leadership skills outside of the classroom.
Students will gain leadership skills through workshops, service projects and student club participation.
The program features three levels of certification including General Certification, Advanced Certification and League of Distinguished Certified Leaders.

Student of the Year Award ($2000)
The Student of the Year Award is presented every spring to one student on each campus. Requirements include 24 credit hours by the end of Fall term, a minimum 2.5 accumulative grade point average, 50 documented volunteer hours and General Leadership Certification.
Students must complete the application process in order to be considered. Applications are available in the Office of Student Life.
Board Student Scholar
The Board Student Scholar provides the Board of Trustees with information from students about their needs, suggestions and concerns. Through this experience, scholars gain valuable insight into organizational governance and leadership.
The Board Student Scholar is appointed by the Joint Student Council and is chosen from the Eastern, Metropolitan or Western Campus student body on a rotating basis.
