Students wishing to address an academic concern that does not involve a recorded grade should follow the steps listed in the Student Complaint Procedure within the Student Handbook.
Many problems can be resolved with a conversation, so the first step in addressing an academic concern is to initiate the matter orally with the faculty member or other employee who is the focus of the complaint within a reasonable timeframe. If you need assistance in preparing to complete this step, you may consult with the Student Affairs Office.
