Program Description
 

The Sport and Exercise Program’s (SES) coursework is designed to meet the skills necessary for an entry level role in the field of Sports and Exercise including:
• Fitness Specialist
• Personal Trainer
• Recreation Director
• Program Manager/Director
• Group Fitness Instructor
• Health Fitness Instructor
• Sport Coach

This program has been preliminarily approved by the Ohio Board of Regents.

The Curriculum includes Principles of Cardiorespiratory Fitness, Muscular Strength and Conditioning, Sport Injury Care, First Aid, CPR, and AED, Sport Management, Exercise Physiology, Fitness and Wellness Coaching, and Kinesiology.
