The Physician Assistant seven bed patient care clinic and operating room allows our students to train in a settings designed to simulate actual healthcare settings. Students can practice and test their skills in preparation for clinical training. |

Students gain surgical skills necessary to assist in surgery. Our PA lab has a virtual operating room, which allows our students to learn and simulate these skills prior to training in the clinical setting. |

Our students gain hands on experience through use of Human Patient Simulation. These manikins are programmed to simulate many patient scenarios from cardiac arrest to acute asthma attack, to seizures. It is up to our students to correctly assess, treat, and manage these patient encounters. The computerized manikins automatically respond to treatment choices utilized by the students. |

Our program utilizes actors (standardized patients) trained to act as patients. These actors are trained to follow specific scenarios and advised on how to respond to questions or actions by the students. Our students gain experience in history taking, physical exam skills, and professionalism through interaction with these simulated patients |

Our virtual room has many simulation tools that offer practical learning and dexterity training. We have various models and tools to assist students in learning:
