Program Description

The Pharmacy Technology program prepares a student for a career as a pharmacy technician. Through very specialized courses, you will learn about medications and their effects on the body and about pharmacy compounding, packaging and labeling.  You will spend time in the program’s dedicated pharmacy lab, using genuine pharmacy equipment, before working rotations at actual pharmacies, in both hospital and drug store settings. Such real-world experience is exactly what healthcare institutions are looking for in this rapidly growing field. 

The Pharmacy Tech program offers the option of day or evening classes, allowing you to have some flexibility in your schedule.
