Nuclear Medicine Technology - Employment Outlook
The employment outlook still remains promising for Nuclear Medicine Technologists. With the aging population and new applications such as molecular imaging using Positron Emission Tomography (PET), the field is expected to have continued growth for many more years. Opportunities exist with hospitals, imaging centers, cardiology offices, mobile imaging companies, and medical equipment manufacturers. As opportunities become less in the Greater Cleveland area, job availability in rural areas and other parts of the country would be expected to continue for some time.
