Geriatric Massage Therapy

Degree/Certificate: Associate of Applied Science degree in Massotherapy with a concentration in Geriatric Message Therapy 
Program Description

Provides students the competencies that enable them to learn not only the basic massage therapy skills but also the geriatric massage therapy techniques. Students are given the opportunity to work in a geriatric clinic for their clinical practicum under the supervision of geriatric specialists. This enables them to receive a significant number of board recognized hours towards the licensed Massage Therapist requirements established by the Ohio State Medical Board and are prepared for National Board Certification exams for massage therapists.
