Program Description

The Environmental, Health & Safety Technology (EHST) program will prepare you for the field of environmental health and safety. If you enjoy working outdoors, you can choose the Environmental Field Technology option and learn, for instance, how to collect water and soil samples and evaluate and clean up environmental contamination. The EH&S Management option will prepare you for work in the public or private sector, ensuring the government and industry comply with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.

 If you are an existing EH&S or other degreed professional, the program can help you update your knowledge and skills through a one-year certificate.

 The EHST program offers day, evening and Web-based distance learning courses, as well as weekend classes and 2 accelerated courses.
