About the Massage Therapy Program at Tri-C:
The Massage Therapy program will prepare you for a rewarding career as a Massage Therapist, whether running an independent practice, working closely with other health providers such as physical therapists and chiropractors or being employed in other settings such as:

Tri-C offers consistently high pass rates for Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards MBLEx exam used by the State Medical Board Ohio for massage licensure. Learn and develop both clinical skills and business know-how. You will receive high-quality instruction and become a college graduate - for thousands less than other institutions!
Tri-C has a variety of offerings to fit your busy lifestyle: full and part-time schedules are available and classes are offered during the day or evening/weekend.
When you graduate from one of the following Massage Therapy programs, you are eligible to apply for a Medical Board of Ohio massage license after passing the MBLEx exam:
- Certificate of Proficiency in Massage Therapy:- if you do not have a college degree
- Post-Degree Professional Certificate in Massage Therapy -- if you have an associate, bachelor or higher degree from a recognized college/university
The above certificates seamless transfer to the Associate of Applied Science Degree and Short-Term Certificate: Advanced Massage Therapy.
Associate of Applied Science Degree in Massage Therapy
Certificate of Proficiency and Post-Degree Certificate students have the option of receiving the associate degree by completing general education courses such as Small Business Management, Psychology, Bioethics, etc. Students can enroll in and complete some or all of the the general education courses before acceptance to the massage therapy program, or while taking massage therapy courses, or after graduating with the certificate. Note: All associate degree students must complete two advanced massage therapy courses that are not part of the certificate program.
Advanced Massage Therapy Graduates of the Certificate of Proficiency and Post Degree Certificate programs have the option of returning to complete the short-term certificate. The massage therapy courses in the short-term certificate are also part of associate degree.
