Curriculum Changes being Proposed
The College's Math courses and degree requirement revisions went into effect August 2016. The Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program made revisions to its course requirements to meet these new changes. The admission Math requirement is Math 1410 or Math 1530 or higher; the remaining admission requirements remain the same. Students who have already completed Math 1141, Math 1200, Math 1270 or Math 1280 may use that Math course to meet the College's Math requirement for graduation as long as they graduate by Summer 2021. Students with the older math courses will need to be accepted to the DMS Program classes (not admission courses) to start the Program no later than Fall 2019 in order to have the Math class meet the "grandfathering" time periods.
Completed applications are now being accepted for the General, Cardiac and Vascular specialties that begin Fall 2017. Completed applications received by the first week of January 2017 should have received their acceptance letter by January 17, 2017
