Students who complete the degree requirements with an overall GPA of 2.0, ECED courses with a 2.5 GPA,and student teaching with a GPA of 3.0 are eligible to apply for Pre-K Associate licensure.

The career outlook in Early Childhood Education is continually growing as more parents enter the workforce and require skilled professionals to care for their young children. Job opportunities are abundant in the Greater Cleveland area. Graduates of the Tri-C program who earn their Pre-K Associate license may be employed in a variety of settings including childcare centers, parent cooperatives, franchised centers, public and private centers, Head Start programs, and centers serving children with special needs.

Tri-C graduates, who want to enter the field, easily obtain jobs. Starting salaries range from $14,000 to $25,000 a year.
