Accreditations & Partnerships
The National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) is responsible for maintaining the automotive industry's basic program standards and evaluating schools against the standards. The industry worked together to develop a task list, a tool and equipment list, and basic program standards. Once a program meets the standards, certification (accreditation) is granted by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). The General Motors ASEP and Automotive Degree Program are ASE Master certified.
ASE certified programs signify that the program meets national standards of quality. Students benefit from attending an ASE certified training program. Students know that the skills taught in a certified program will be needed for employment in the industry. Additionally, Cuyahoga Community College is accredited by North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
