Access - Students with Disabilities
The Access Program provides classroom accommodations and support for students with disabilities enrolled at Tri-C. To receive services, students must make an appointment to meet with an Access Student Advisor and present documentation of disability. We recommend scheduling the appointment at least 8 weeks prior to the start of classes; some services may require additional time. Services are individualized based on disability and may include advising, test proctoring, support groups, books in alternate format, assistive technology, sign language interpreting and summer bridge classes.
The Access Program also arranges accommodations (such as sign language interpreters) for College sponsored programs and activities. One-week notice is requested. Please contact the Director at 216-987-5077.
The Access Program is funded by the U.S. Dept. of Education (Carl Perkins), the State of Ohio and Tri-C.
