Collaboration involves Cleveland Public Library and Cuyahoga County Public Library
Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) today signed an agreement with Cleveland Public Library and Cuyahoga County Public Library to share resources, exchange services and coordinate programming.
The collaboration provides opportunities for the institutions to work together to better serve the community. Staff at the College and libraries will be trained on each other’s programs and services.
The agreement also will:
- Build an internship program for Tri-C students with the libraries
- Enhance educational access to Tri-C through library referrals
- Provide website links between the institutions and printed materials for distribution
- Create opportunities for joint programming and events
"This partnership represents a seed that will grow toward our mutual goal of a more educated citizenry,” Tri-C President Alex Johnson said during a signing ceremony at the College’s Metropolitan Campus.
Johnson was joined at the ceremony by Sari Feldman, executive director of the Cuyahoga County Public Library, and Felton Thomas, executive director of the Cleveland Public Library.
