Tri-C Bridges to Success in the Sciences Hosting Medical Scholarship Information Session for Veterans

HIGHLAND HILLS – The Bridges to Success in the Sciences Program at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) is hosting a Medical and Health Career Information Session at all three campuses on Wednesday, October 21. This free event will cover scholarship opportunities in the health professions, including medical school, and is open to student, veterans and the public.

Presented by Dr. Margaret Calloway, Commander, MC, U.S. N, NAVY, associate dean for recruitment and admissions for the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences at F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine, the talk will cover important information about health profession scholarships, tuition free programs for medical school and special programs for enlisted and civilian individuals that include a stipend for living expenses.

Presentation schedule for each campus:

• 9:00 a.m.: Eastern Campus Student Service Building, President’s Plaza, second floor,4250 Richmond Road, Highland Hills

• Noon: Western Campus Careers and Science Building, first floor in the A Atrium, 11000 Pleasant Valley Road, Parma

• 3:30 p.m.: Metropolitan Campus Student Lounge, Campus Center Room 100, 2900 Community College Avenue, Cleveland

Parking is available in designated visitor lots on each Tri-C campus for $1 for a two-hour time block, or a hangtag permit can be purchased for 75 cents.
