PARMA – The Cuyahoga Community College Western Campus Theatre Department announces auditions for Lone Star and Laundry and Bourbon by James Mclure on December 1 and 2.  Callbacks will be held on December 3.  All auditions begin at 7 p.m. and take place in the Western Campus Theatre, 11000 Pleasant Valley Road in Parma.  Parking is available in the visitor lot which is attached to lot C.   Three adult men and three adult women are needed.  Auditioners will be asked to improvise, move, and read from the script.  These productions will be directed by Western Campus Theatre Coordinator Robert Ellis.

Laundry and Bourbon is the story of three small-town women, Elizabeth, Hattie and their nemesis Amy Lee Fullernoy. While sipping bourbon and coke, Elizabeth and Hattie gossip about their less-than-perfect husbands, the antics of their children and the memories of their wild youth.

Roy loves three things: this country, his beautiful wife, and his 1959 Pink Thunderbird Convertible - not necessarily in that order. Lone Star is Roy's story. It is a typical Texas night and Roy sets about to drink a case of beer while regaling Ray, his brother who worships him, with his military and sexual exploits.

Running:    February 20, 21, 26, 27 and 28 at 8 p.m.
                   February 22 and March 1 at 2 p.m.
