Tri-C Gallery West Showcases Artists Dana Oldfather and Jean Kondo Weigl

PARMA - The new and recent works of Dana Oldfather and Jean Kondo Weigl are on display through Oct. 29 at Gallery West inside Cuyahoga Community College’s Western Campus, located at 11000 Pleasant Valley Road in Parma. The exhibit consists of 57 drawings, prints and paintings. The public is invited to a free reception for the artists on Wednesday, Oct. 15, from 6-8 p.m. in the Gallery.
Both of these contemporary artists have prolific bodies of work and strong exhibition records. Dana Oldfather’s work is shown here courtesy of The Bonfoey Gallery, with whom she is exclusively represented locally. Jean Kondo Weigl is most recently known for her printmaking residency and culminating exhibition at Zygote Press last year.
Gallery West is located on the second floor inside the Western Campus library in the Student Services Building. Gallery hours are 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Friday; and 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday. The Gallery is closed on Sundays, holidays and academic breaks.
