Sharpen Your Photography Skills with Tri-C's New Summer Workshops

CLEVELAND ––– Are you interested in learning more about working with cameras and becoming an Adobe Photoshop guru? This summer, Cuyahoga Community College will offer workshops in introduction to digital photography, digital editing, and intermediate digital photography.

The Introduction to Digital Photography course will be held on Saturday July 26 and August 2 at Tri-C’s Corporate College West campus, 25425 Center Ridge Rd., Westlake, from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. The registration fee is $49. Participants will learn basic digital camera terms and operation, how to use a flash, and tips for taking crisp photos. Students should bring their own digital cameras to class.

Also at Corporate College West will be the digital editing workshop using Adobe Photoshop Elements 6. It will be held for two weeks on Monday and Wednesday beginning June 30 and ending on July 9 from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. The registration fee is $99. Students will explore the elements of Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 and will learn how to restore photo color, create digital montages, and improve color instantly.

The Workshop in Intermediate Digital Photography will be three consecutive Saturdays beginning August 2 and ending August 16 from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. in the Eastern Campus Liberal Arts building, 4250 Richmond Rd., Highland Hills. The registration fee is $89. Students will master the use of zoom, shutter speed, aperture controls, and night shots.
