PARMA – Three student athletes at Cuyahoga Community College’s Western Campus have been named to the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) All-Academic team. In order to earn this recognition, the student athlete must have completed at least 24 credit hours with minimum 3.30 GPA.
Freshman Adam Stout, a St. Ignatius graduate, participates on the men’s soccer team. He has earned 28 credits, while maintaining a 3.64 GPA. Sophomore women’s softball player Jessica Katsiroubas, a Valley Forge graduate, has completed 93 credits with a 3.51 GPA. Freshman men’s baseball player Jacob Gruttadauria, a Normandy graduate, has earned 53 credits with a 3.69 GPA. Jacob is also being nominated as a National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Academic All-American for earning at least 45 credits and having a minimum GPA of 3.60.
The OCCAC is made up of 10 community colleges in Ohio. It promotes and fosters community college intercollegiate athletics for men and women on the state level. For more information, visit http://www.occac.org/.
