CLEVELAND – Corporate College, a division of Cuyahoga Community College, will host Administrative Professional’s Day on April 23 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to recognize some of the area’s hardest working employees. The event, held at Corporate College East in Warrensville Heights, will feature a panel discussion, educational seminars, luncheon with fashion show, exhibitors, networking opportunities, and an awards/recognition program.
“We have a great lineup of speakers, covering a variety of topics important for the professional, emotional and physical well-being of participants,” stated Michele Clark, program manager. Clark added, “NewsChannel 5 anchor Danita Harris will lead the keynote panel discussion, featuring administrative professionals to the top executives with University Hospitals, the Cleveland Indians, the Cleveland Foundation, and Tri-C.” Speakers for breakout sessions will cover a host of topics, including: Unleash the Power in PowerPoint, Microsoft Office 2007 New Features, The Art of Communication, Spring Clean Your Life, Proper Nutrition and Stress Eating, Meeting Planning Snapshots for Success, Active Listening and Assertive Training.
The annual event, now in its fifth year, draws approximately 300 administrative professionals. Cost is $149 per person. The day begins with breakfast, followed by a general presentation on professionalism and business etiquette from Rosalind Thompson, one of the area’s leading human resources consultants.
