The Tri-C Foundation thanks all of our generous donors and business partners, whose support has allowed the Foundation to meet and exceed its fundraising goals. Our students ultimately benefit from all you do and we extend our sincere thanks for helping us achieve the following accomplishments.
During the 2014-15 academic year:
- The Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Foundation and the Mandel Supporting Foundations awarded a $10 million gift to the Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) Foundation to establish the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Humanities Center. This is the largest gift in the College's history.
- Cuyahoga Community College and the Cuyahoga Community College Foundation dedicated the Alfred Lerner Veterans Services Center, with sincere appreciation to Mrs. Norma Lerner and The Lerner Foundation for their support of Veterans and their families at Tri-C and throughout our community.
- The Foundation awarded $1.7 million in scholarships to 1,764 students. Just 10 years ago, scholarship awards totaled $414,409
- The 2014 Presidential Scholarship Luncheon, featuring President George W. Bush raised a record $1.6 million to benefit Veterans initiatives and student scholarships
