A beautiful backyard setting, a flavorful menu by Sammy’s and a dynamic guest list were among the highlights of the Tri-C Foundation’s annual scholarship benefit, Investing in Healthy Futures, that took place Saturday, June 6, 2009. Gracious hosts, Barbara and Mal Mixon, welcomed 270 guests into their home and gardens for the benefit, which raised an outstanding $215,000 for the Foundation’s Nursing and Health Careers Scholarship Fund.
