Youth & Summer Camps

Summer Camp Brochure

This summer, Cuyahoga Community College is offering more than 30 summer camps to engage children and teenagers.  Camp offerings include a Tri-C for Kids program, community arts and music classes, a health careers exploration experience, an archaeology camp, and sports and fitness options.

Popular programs returning for 2008 include basketball camps with former or current players of the Cavaliers as guest presenters, a Sport & Fitness Academy, and volleyball for girls.  New this year is an introduction to outdoor adventure where students will learn about camping, backpacking and water safety.

Summer camp students can showcase their talents through numerous performing, and Community Arts and Music Programs.  Summer options include, learning how to produce a music CD, creating a drama through self-expression, or discovering musical talents through the introduction of musical instruments.  Tri-C is also offering a performing arts camp, and West African dance.

NASA will sponsor the Science, Engineering, Mathematics and Aerospace Academy (SEMAA) Camp again this year and the Tri-C for Kids camp will run for three-week sessions offering children courses that include astronomy, jewelry making and web design.

Don’t wait to think about what to do this summer or where to go to explore new interests!  Cuyahoga Community College offers everything you need right near your home. Classes are offered at the Western Campus in Parma, the Metropolitan Campus in Cleveland and the Eastern Campus in Highland Hills.  Summer camps begin June 9 and run through August.
