Benefits 

All full-time employees are eligible to elect benefits through the Flexible Benefits Plan.  Selections become effective the first of the month following an eligible employee's hire date or the first working day of the month if that is the date of hire.  The specific benefits available for full-time employees are determined by their job classification.

Prescription Drug Coverage If enrolled in a Medical Mutual plan, discounted prescription drug coverage is provided through Caremark Inc.  Amount of co-pay varies based on the medication and the tier the medication falls into: generic, formulary brand or non-formulary brand.  If enrolled in the Kaiser HMO Medical Health Plan, discounted prescription drug coverage is included with the plan.  more...

Life Insurance Standard benefit of 2-1/2 times your base salary, up to the permitted maximum, at no cost to you. Dependent life insurance coverage is available for spouse and dependent children.
   
Disability Benefits Standard short-term and long-term disability benefits provide 70% of your monthly salary up to a stated maximum.

Retirement Programs Faculty employees participate in The State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio (STRS). All other employees participate in the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System of Ohio (OPERS).  Full-time employees may elect to contribute to an Alternative Retirement Plan (ARP) instead of STRS/OPERS.  Voluntary  403(b) and 457(b) defined contribution plans that allow employees to make pretax contributions to an account are also available.
   
Reduced Tuition Employees pay only the general fee to take  Tri-C credit courses; dependents pay the general fee and an additional fee of $5 per semester.  Form & Instructions.
   
Wellness Program Provides employees with the resources to reach their personal wellness goals and activities to maintain their physical, mental, and social health.  Participants can earn a financial reward for reaching their wellness goal.
   
Time Off 11 paid holidays, plus paid time off for vacation, illness, and personal reasons is provided.  Tenure Track/Tenured Faculty and Lecurers receive 5 paid holidays and paid time off for illness and personal reasons.
