Patient Access Specialist 

The Patient Access Specialist program is designed to prepare individuals for the many opportunities available in the Patient Access department in a hospital setting. These may include admitting and registering, financial counseling or providing customer service to patients.

In addition to preparing individuals for these job duties the program will also address topics on the Certified Healthcare Access Associate Exam, preparing you for professional certification.

The program consists of the following 4 courses:

• Medical Terminology
• Patient Access Specialist Fundamentals
• Customer Service for Healthcare 
• Medical Billing
