Medical Coding & Patient Access Specialist 

Program Description
Entry Level Medical Coding and Billing program is designed to train participants to perform medical coding for the physicians office. Interpretation of medical terms, coding for diagnosis and interventions and all aspects of coding medical claims for accuuracy will be covered. The program includes instruction in the foundations of cding that are critical for preparing for successful completion of one of the national certification exams offered on the market in medical coding. The program is offered in two formats: live in the classroom (Medical Terminology, Medical Coding Fundamentals, Surgical Coding Fundamentals and Medical Biling Reimbursement) or Online (Administrative Medical Specialist).

Medical Terminology: A Word Association Approach - Online

Learn medical terminology from an anatomical approach. Root terms are divided by each body system. The origin, a combined form, Spanish meaning of the root, and an example of non-medical everyday usage is provided for each root term.
