Fire and EMS Training - Home
Fire Fighter Training Academy
The Fire Fighter I & II training course is designed to train you for an entry-level position in the exciting career of professional fire service. Our training includes topics related to the established requirements of the Ohio Revised Code for Career Fire Fighters and the training and educational requirements identified in NFPA 1001.
You will join our other 200 cadets who participate each year in this 256-hour course. You can attend a:
- 7-week daytime Academy, or
- 10-week daytime Academy, or
- 16-week evening Academy
which will give you ten (10) credits toward a two-year Associate of Applied Science Degree in Fire Technology. Our students pass at a rate of 99 percent and our Academy is one of the largest and most well-respected Fire Fighter Training Academies in Ohio.
Fire Advanced Training
The Fire Fighter Advanced Training courses are designed to improve the training levels of the professional fire fighter. This training is designed for the volunteer, part-time, and professional fire fighter.
EMS Advanced Training
The EMS Advanced Training courses are offered to certified EMS and Healthcare providers. These programs are designed to enhance the knowledge and skill level of the EMS/Healthcare providers of our region.
