Construction Apprenticeship Training Center

This center provides employer-sponsored training for carpenters, iron workers, operating engineers, electricians, and brick layers. Each apprenticeship program is conducted with the Joint Apprenticeship Training Council of the respective trade. Apprenticeship training generally takes 3 - 5 years for completion; many students continue on to earn 2-year degrees in applied sciences. Four-year degrees in technology management and construction management are also offered through partnerships with Kent State University and the University of Akron.
