Bioscience Workforce Training & Assessment Center 

Tri-C’s brand new (opening Summer 2008) Bioscience Workforce Training and Assessment Center, located at the Unified Technologies Center, will help supply a skilled workforce for the approximately 450 bioscience companies in Northeast Ohio.

With a high demand for workers, these new programs will prepare workers to fill this gap in the region’s workforce. Bioscience is defined as the design, manufacture and distribution of medical devices and pharmaceutical drugs.

Students with a high school diploma or GED are eligible to enroll at the Bioscience Workforce Training and Assessment Center. Programs range from six to 16 weeks in length. Entry level wages range from $12 to $15 per hour, with great opportunities for additional career growth inside companies throughout the area. Financial assistance is available for qualified individuals.
