Medical Device Manufacturing 

Upon successful completion of one of the following technical courses, a supplemental class in Food and Drug Regulations (FDA) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) may be taken to obtain a certificate in Medical Device Manufacturing.

The fee for this course is $975.00

Technical courses are:

• Precision Machining Technician (PMT)
• CNC certificate
• Electronics Soldering and Assembly
• Industrial Maintenance Technician (IMT)

The supplemental course in FDA and cGMP is 16 hours and covers the following topics:

• Introduction to the medical device industry
• cGMP and FDA regulations for medical device manufacturing
• cGMP and FDA goals
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
• Record keeping
• Personnel training
