Visiting (Transient) Students

If you are attending another college or university and would like to take classes that will transfer back to your home institution, apply as a visiting or transient student at Tri-C.

How Do I Get Started at Tri-C ?

Step 1  Apply online or in-person at any Tri-C campus Enrollment Center.
Step 2  Discuss course options and home institution requirements with your advisor. Obtain written permission if required by your home institution, and a transient permission form if any desired Tri-C courses have prerequisites.
Step 3  Review Tri-C's online course schedule. Prior to registration, submit your transient permission form to the Enrollment Center on any Tri-C campus.
Step 4  Register for classes online or at the Enrollment Center of any Tri-C campus.
Login to my Tri-C space, click the My Info Tab, click Register in the Registration Information channel. Search for and select your classes.
Step 5  Pay for classes in my Tri-C space or in person at any campus Enrollment Center. Payment must be made before the payment deadline.
Step 6  Buy your books online or in your campus Book Store.
Step 7  At the end of the semester, order an official Tri-C transcript on my Tri-C space to be sent to your home institution in order to receive transfer credits.
