Message to Cuyahoga Community College Western Campus:
||The Cuyahoga Community College Department of Campus Police and Security Services is dedicated to protecting life and property, and to preventing and detecting crime. The department includes police officers, security officers, dispatchers, and student patrols.

The Campus Police and Security Services Detective Bureau have completed the follow-up investigation in regards to the alert message below. There have been no other similar incidents reported; there also have been no investigative leads or additional information on the suspect. A check has been made with the surrounding community’s law enforcement agencies and they have not received any reports of this nature. Increased police presence will continue, we are asking that anyone with information concerning this incident contact the Campus Police at 216-987-4325.
At approximately 6:45 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, a 16-year-old reported to a Western Campus employee that a white male tried to entice him into a campus bathroom on the first floor of the North Galleria. Campus Police are investigating and providing an increased presence.
The teen described the man as being about 30 to 35 years old, 6 feet tall and 170 pounds. He was bald, clean shaven and wore a tan shirt, blue jeans and brown boots.
Anyone with information is asked to call Campus Police at 216-987-4325.
Updates will be made available on the Campus Police website as appropriate during the investigation. Dr. Ron Liss, Western Campus President, and Campus Police remind students, staff and faculty to be aware of their surroundings as they come and go for College business.
