Effective January 4, 2011, the Network Services group of Information Technology Services (ITS) will be replacing the existing Quest conference bridge with a new fully integrated Cisco Meeting Place Express conference bridge system which is part of the College’s Cisco Unified Communication platform. Because the Cisco audio conferencing system is integrated with your Outlook calendar it eliminates communication bottlenecks and facilitates collaboration across every workspace. An additional benefit to the Cisco conference bridge is our ability to discontinue a redundant service thus saving the College approximately $60,000.00 annually.
If you are a user of the old Quest conferencing bridge calling system and require training for conference bridges immediately upon return from winter break, please contact John Betts on extension 3333 at Network Services to schedule set up and training.
If you would like to set up the bridge on your own, we have included simple step by step set-up instructions.
Should you have any questions regarding the system please feel free to contact Anjan Ghose, Director of Network Services at 216-987-4360.
