Tri-C graduate selected to nursing board at American Health Council

After earning her certification as a registered nurse from Tri-C, Csonka entered the field of nursing education. She is presently an assistant nursing professor at Daytona State College in Daytona Beach, Fla., in addition to an adjunct professor at Kaplan University and visiting professor at Chamberlain College of Nursing.
Csonka earned a Master of Science degree in nursing from Walden University in 2013, and is presently working toward a Doctorate of Philosophy from Capella University. Her professional affiliations include Sigma Theta Tau, the Academy of Medical Surgical Nurses, American Association of Colleges of Nursing, Historical Nurses Association and American Nurses Association.
As a member of the American Health Council’s nursing board, Csonka will utilize her expertise in nursing, nursing education and patient safety to help the council achieve its mission of collaboration among healthcare professionals to improve the physical and mental health of all Americans.
