Tri-C Hosts STEM Fair for High School Students

Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) today hosted the National Technical Association’s student STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) fair. The event, held in the Metropolitan Campus gymnasium, was designed to expose high school students to STEM careers.
Demonstration booths set up by NASA included a Mars Rover landing video game, an alternative energy demonstration, lunar robotics, a soda bottle rocket and a “picture yourself in space” photo station.
Representatives from area colleges discussed STEM programs with students.
The day also included a STEM panel discussion, a Lego robotics demo, and STEM poster sessions with high school and college students.
The fair was part of the 86th annual NTA conference and career fair, help Sept. 24-26 in Cleveland.
