Sustainability 

Sustainability at Cuyahoga Community College means achieving the College’s educational and community missions with a sense of responsibility for preserving the environment, promoting the economy and improving society as a whole.

Our Activities: The College offers both an Associate of Applied Science Degree as well as a Post Degree Certificate in Environmental Health and Safety Technology.  Achieving state mandated efficiency standards Reducing energy cost by an estimated 21% Recycling computers and other electronics as well as tires, oil, batteries,  and fluorescent lighting Decommissioning underground heating oil storage tanks to prevent contamination Improving air quality through systematic maintenance and cleaning of duct work Tri-C recieves a $50,000 Ohio Department of Natural Resources grant to add more recycling bins to campuses A complete list of activities
