Fiscal Year 2008 was a year of dramatic changes in Finance and Business Services, with a positive new direction which produced significant achievements. The division has been entirely reorganized to focus on end-to-end business processes, with new roles and responsibilities in most areas. Among the many accomplishments of the past year, highlights include producing the College’s first comprehensive Budget Book, Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) and Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR), as well as significant budgetary savings for the organization. For FY2009, Administration and Finance and Business Services have joined to form the new Administration and Finance department, which is another significant step toward the institution’s Once College goal. With this merger, we look forward to even greater accomplishments in FY2009.
Cuyahoga Community College is proud of our new financial reports and I am pleased to share the CAFR and PAFR with the community. These documents will assist citizens and taxpayers in understanding how their tax dollars are being spent to educate our students.
Sincerely,
Dr. Craig Foltin, CPA
Executive Vice President/Treasurer
