The DMS program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Educational Programs (CAAHEP) CAAHEP is a Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)-recognized programmatic postsecondary accrediting agency. In collaboration with its Committees on Accreditation, CAAHEP reviews and accredits over 2,100 educational programs in 23 health science occupations.CAAHEP can be contacted at 1361 Park Street, Clearwater, Florida 33756 or www.caahep.org. The Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (JRC-DMS) is the committee for accreditation that establishes the accreditation standards and guidelines in conjunction with CAAHEP.
