What is Medical Assisting?
The Medical Assistant is a multi-skilled professional who assists the physician with the administrative and clinical aspects of patient care.

About Our Program:
The Cuyahoga Community College Medical Assisting Program includes courses in administrative, clinical, and communication skills; ethical and legal standards of medical practice; and a "hands on" clinical practicum experience.Graduates are eligible to take the National Certifying Examination given by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA). 

This program is accredited by tthe Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), on recommendation of the Medical Assisting Education Review Board (MAERB) of the American Association of Medical Assistants Endowment (AAMAE). Upon successful completion of the program a student will complete 210 hours of a supervised, non-paid practicum.
