Description: This course is a preparation for ICD-10-CM. The seminar will include an explanation of ICD-10 with comparison to ICD-9, Guidelines for Coding, Chapter by Chapter Explanation of ICD-10 with Review of Anatomy, Basic Physiology, Medical Terminology and Basic Pharmacology. We will also have clinical examples with hands-on coding exercises for each ICD-10 chapter.

Learning Outcomes: At the conclusion of the course, participants will be able to demonstrate an increased understanding of ICD-10-CM and will be able to correctly complete coding exercises for each ICD-10 chapter.
