Description: Explore the job performance functions of the dental practice front office. Starting with dental terminology, participants will examine normal oral structures, dental pathophysiology, preventive care, and dental procedures. Examine the daily tasks of managing the fron desk to include greeting patients, patient office flow, treatment planning and scheduling, telephone management, dental record maintenance, and related administrative duties. Computer lab practice with dental office software will help you learn patient record management, scheduling, and basic billing functions.
