Aesthetic, technical, and business considerations that determine effective use of photographs in communications materials. Analysis of formal qualities that convey a photographs meaning. Designed for students whose career choices require an understanding of photographs, such as graphic design, illustration, interactive media, digital publishing, journalism, history, marketing, and communications.
