Description: Focus on planning, designing, and executing a digital versatile disk (DVD). Topics include theory of DVD interface, history of DVD technology, basic non-linear editing, basic audio editing, exporting MPEG2 video and audio streams, developing flowcharts and storyboards for DVD interface, and designing still and motion menus.
Prerequisites: VCPH-1450 Digital Imaging I; or VC&D-1400 Imaging and Design, and VC&D-140L Imaging and Design Studio; and VCDV-1180 Introduction to Digital Video and Digital Filmmaking; or departmental approval: previous coursework and or/experience.
