Description: Focuses on care of adults with acute and recurring medical and surgical conditions. Students develop skills in problem-solving through use of nursing process as applied to individual situations, with goal of providing safe, competent, and standard nursing interventions to individual adult patient. Laboratory: On-campus and Clinical: 12 hours.
Prerequisites: Departmental Approval: admission to Practical Nursing Program, and PNUR-1320 Nursing Management of Adults I, BIO-2330 Anatomy and Physiology I or concurrent enrollment, and PSY-1010 General Psychology or concurrent enrollment.
